• Buy inquiries (reverse auctions): buyers float a requirement once and sellers compete on the landed rate.
• Sell offers (forward auctions): sellers list ready stock, surplus lots and scrap; buyers bid up and the highest bid (H1) wins.

Rules that keep the board clean

• Only KYC-verified firms can float or quote - GSTIN, PAN and bank proof are checked first.
• Sellers see only what the buyer chooses to publish - the L1 rate, a few ranks, or nothing at all.
• Sellers never see each other's names or contact details; a seller sees the buyer's phone and e-mail only once his quote is in the top 10.
• Every award produces a deal note with GST, MTC and weighment terms.
